Travel

We know that Nantucket is not always the easiest place to reach and we are so appreciative of your efforts to come and celebrate with us!

Thankfully, the island has become slightly easier to access in recent years as more airlines have introduced flights to ACK.

Nantucket is a popular destination in the fall, and so we strongly encourage that you book travel as early as possible.

Flying

402_in_flight.jpg

There are several direct flights from New York, Washington, and Boston each day.

JetBlue, Delta, United, American, and Cape Air all fly into Nantucket (ACK).

We recommend using Kayak to view available flights.

The airport is a quick taxi or bus ride away from hotels.

Driving

The best alternative to flying is to drive and take a ferry.

Steamship Authority and Hy-Line Cruises both operate high-speed passenger ferries from Hyannis, MA to Nantucket. Steamship Authority also operates a slow car ferry.

Seastreak also offers high-speed passenger ferries from New York and New Bedford, MA to Nantucket.

All ferries arrive right in downtown, a short walk from hotels.

On Island

If you are staying in town, you will not need a car to get around the island. Nantucket has a very reliable bus system that allows you to get from town to anywhere you would want to go! Renting a bike is also a fantastic way to get around on the system of bike paths spanning all of Nantucket.

We will have transportation from town to all wedding events in ‘Sconset.

If you do rent a car, Rob recommends a Smart Car!
